Itinerary:
Let's go do some top roping at Bear Spirit! This trip is open to everyone, including STICKSSS. Bear Spirit is a great place to practice your technique on steeper ice and to gain some endurance. Be aware that the approach to the crag involves an ice step, but right now it's very easy. There is also a fixed rope and I am happy to set up a belay if needed.
Required Items to Bring:
Harness, ice tools, technical crampons, belay device, lots of layers. Rope and anchor setup if you have them.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:
Carpool Departure Time:   07:15 AM
Carpool Location:   Shouldice Arena parking lot
Carpool Directions:   I will be driving a yellow Toyota Matrix

Notes:
I will be out of town, so I will move participants from the waiting list and will send final email around 7/8 pm on Wed. Also, please let me know if you can bring a rope.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
