Itinerary:
The plan is to drive out on Friday after work and camp at Ya Ha Tinda - we have the club's dome tent as a cook tent and the club's stoves. We will arrange a communal evening meal/meals (for a small nominal charge to cover costs), but you will need to bring breakfasts and lunches. One night will have a pirate theme, due to the only pun I could think of for Ya Ha Tinda. Climbing: The aim is to climb the range of ice climbs round there over the next couple of days, which may include crossing the Red Deer River for access. To be considered as a participant, please send me a short email describing your (ice)climbing experience if you haven't been on ice with us. A more detailed gear list etc. will get sent out once participants are moved from the waiting list.
Required Items to Bring:
Ice Climbing Gear, Winter Camping Gear (depending on conditions, at least down to -15°C), food, booze, headlamp, radios, camping chair.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:   To be confirmed
Carpool Departure Time:   05:00 PM
Carpool Location:   TBD

The Dry Ranges are called dry for a reason - we may cancel, or propose an alternative venue if the ice isn't in condition.
Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.

Trip Feedback
If you have any feedback, positive or negative, concerning this trip or any other, we want to hear from you! You can send any feedback you may have to the Section Chair.
