This is a BITS friendly trip for those
currently taking BITS or those who have taken
BITS in the past. This if for those who want to
get out and do a tour in the back country and
burn off some of those excess calories taken in
over the Holidays. The tour will take us all
the way to Skoki Lodge or at least to Deception
Pass to do a couple turns off Fossil (if
conditions are good) or the pass.
This is a great early season conditioning trip
as well and a good time to see what the snow
conditions are like in the back country. The
total ski tour to Skoki is 22 km return so a
reasonable fitness level is expected. This
trip does require participants to have taken
AST 1 and some recent beacon practice. If I
haven't skied with you let me know your
experience.

| Required Items to Bring: |

Left over sweets to give away so you are no longer

| Notes: |
|
We have a 2 hour drive so we want to leave at 6:45
sharp to give ourselves time to take in as much of
the tour as we can. So get to the carpool
location in plenty of time so we can leave on
time.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
