Do to an injury I will be rescheduling this event. Skill Session
Tuesdays!!
Come out and practice rope rescue skills applicable to all
types of climbing. I will have a few accident scenarios we can
work on that involve using the skills covered over the last few
months. See agenda below but you are welcome to
practice/share anything you would like to cover. This is a
session for those who have some basic knowledge of
escaping belay, assisted rappels, hauling and rope ascension.
I will be starting another basic session for beginners so please
stay tuned.

Required Items to Bring: |
Bring everything you need to practice with and dress warm!!
You will need a headlamp, locking and non locking biners,
harnesses, belay device, personal anchor, prussic, anchor,
and a few draws. I will have prussic cords if you need one or
want to try other types. Bring a heavy pack for a VICTIM if
possible.

Note that this is a peer to peer sharing session only and is
NOT a course. It is also open to the public and participation
numbers will be larger than what is listed in this event.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
