Itinerary:
Lets end off 2016 with a bang and get on some fun steep lines. :) My first pick is the GBU in the Ghost depending on how the access is. We literally park at the base (I'll bring the portable BBQ!) Numbers will depend on how many leaders and off road vehicles will be available to access the Ghost area. Johnston's Canyon will be a back up if access conditions are a risk and there are no other leaders. Both areas have WI5 lines that can be set up by climbing other routes. Beginners welcome but must be able to give a good belay!
Required Items to Bring:
The Ghost is a remote location with at least an hour of off roading. Please plan everything you need accordingly. Standard ice gear, warm clothes, food, hot fluids and Climbing gear.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Stuff for the BBQ??? Chairs? Party Hat, wood for the fire?? :D

How to Get There:
Carpool Departure Time:   07:00 AM
Carpool Location:   Lady of assumption school
Carpool Directions:   Car Pool at the Our Lady of the Assumption School. NW of Sarcee and TransCanada highway. Please google.

Notes:
1. Please include if you can lead (have gear) and what grade in December conditions? 2. Do you have a lifted off road vehicle to access the Ghost Wilderness area and how many can you take?

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
