Itinerary: |
Here is a trip for those that like to move their
feet and get some distance in. The plan is to
shuttle a car to the Cox Hill parking and then
drive to the Moose Mountain trail head. From there
hike the 6 km to the top of Moose then scramble
down and up to Moose North summit, then follow the
the undulating connecting ridge to Jumping Pound
Ridge drop down to the col between JP and Cox
Hill, ascend Cox Hill and hike down the last 6 km
to where we left the car in the morning.
This is the time to do this trip as it's nice and
cool, no ticks and the big peaks are out of
condition. Well have I sparked your interest?

Notes: |
Please note that this is a long trip with over 1,400

coming from the top of Moose. You will be tired at
the end of this journey
