Itinerary:
This is a fun mod scramble. You will use your hands and feet to scramble. You need to be in good shape and be ok w/a bit of exposure. There is a wide short chimney that if frozen it may present a challenge. The weather for Sunday will be windy 20km/hr and cold. Ice may be found on shady sections of the trail and snow at the top. I live in Banff so I will meet you at the trail head 8.00am meet at the Heart Mountain Parking lot at the trail head near the toilettes 8.15am start hiking 1-3pm finish the hike/scramble
Required Items to Bring:
No cottons. Dry fit layers. Wind prof jacket/pants, Hat, gloves, spikes, approach shoes w/good grip, water prof socks, hiking poles, camera, snacks, electrolytes + water, ice axe

Recommended Items to Bring:
change of clothes to leave behind in your car, xtra food/water

How to Get There:
Event Directions:   Take Highway 1 west from Calgary past Deadmans Flats to the Seebe / Exshaw exit just East of Lac Des Arcs. Proceed over the overpass to the south side of the highway where you will find a parking area. Go uphill find the washroom the trail head is near to it

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
