Itinerary:
Let's drive out to Nordegg Friday night and spend family day weekend ice climbing out there! I have 6 beds booked at Shunda Creek hostel, in Nordegg. There is plenty of ice for all ability levels. You don't have to lead ice to come on this trip, but I will make sure that we have at least 3 leaders, so that we can keep everyone climbing! If I haven't climbed with you before, please let me know where your comfort and skill level is (providing examples of what you have climbed is ideal) so that I can plan accordingly. We will drive out Friday after work and come back at the end of the day Monday. Plan to get back in time for a reasonable bed time Sunday, but not before dinner time. Dinner will be shared on Saturday and Sunday night, but breakfast and lunches will be independent. With 6 people we should be able to plan a fancy multi-course meal to make us suitably heavy for climbing the next day! As we will be driving Friday night, please plan your dinner accordingly. The hostel is $31 for nono-members and $28 for members per night, or ~90 for the three nights. You pay upon arrival

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

Please let me know a week in advance if you need to cancel, so that I have a chance to fill the spot. Cancellations within 48 hours of arrival will be subject to the full cost of the room.
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
