Itinerary: |
Pigeon Mountain is a great peak to do in any season so since skiing
is not in full swing yet it would be great to get up a peak despite the
winter conditions.
The elevation gain is over 900m and would be considered more of a
hike rather than a scramble.
Expect about 5 to 7 hours to cover the 15 kms including breaks.
This is great conditioning to keep in shape for skiing.
All are welcome. Sign up is first come first serve with no
prescreening required. You will need some fitness level to gain the
elevation but this peak is rated easy with maybe some added effort
with snow.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
