Itinerary:
The Ghost is one of the more popular climbing destinations among many of our section members. It provides first class climbing and camping in a very remote feeling setting. However, due to increased usage, especially as the Waiparous Creek area is very hard to get into after the 2013 floods, more and more garbage is accumulating on the more popular campsites. In addition, some trail work and maintenance is necessary to keep some of the more popular climbing areas in the area as easy accessible as they used to be. So let’s make the best out of the shoulder season and do a bit of clean up and access trail maintenance work!!! The plan is to drive out, cut out dead fall and brushes covering the access trails up to STD Wall and on the trail leading up to Andrea’s Pillars. We also plan on renewing the flagging tape to the Pillars as well as to the far left sector on STD Wall. In addition we want to pass by the more popular campsites (starting in the North Ghost) and pick up the garbage likely left behind by others.
Required Items to Bring:
Food and drinks for during the day, proper clothing, solid boots (if you have steel toes, bring them for cutting the dead fall), work gloves, a few big garbage bags

Recommended Items to Bring:
chainsaw, hedge clippers, axe or hatched, flagging tape, VHF or FRS/GMRS radios, shovel, pick axe etc.

How to Get There:
