Itinerary:
Every skier is a morning person on a powder day! Plan to carpool from Calgary early Thursday, January 5, ski into Wheeler, drop the big packs and chase down some great snow. If you have any challenge getting away early on January 5, arrive in time for a great group dinner at the Wheeler Hut. We overnight at Wheeler Hut Thursday, January 5 and Friday, January 6 work our way up to Asulkan Hut, shed some pack weight and then make tracks. Conditions permitting; Young’s Peak, Seven Steps of Paradise, etc. or work the Tree Triangle. Plenty of skiing through to Sunday when we ski out and make the drive back to Calgary with big grins all around. Costs for the trip are simply the hut fees payable to myself. This trip is set up for members and guests aspiring to join the ACC but want a feel first. Info on carpooling, what to bring will be sent to participants closer to the date. Please plan for dinner “food buddies” on Friday and Saturday nights. Bennett Brothers have dinner in hand for Thursday night. Breakfast and lunches up to your own planning.

Whatever makes you comfortable and smiling for a few days in the mountains.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
