Every skier is a morning person on a powder
day!
Plan to carpool from Calgary early Thursday,
January 5, ski into Wheeler, drop the big packs
and chase down some great snow. If you have
any challenge getting away early on January 5,
arrive in time for a great group dinner at the
Wheeler Hut.
We overnight at Wheeler Hut Thursday, January 5
and Friday, January 6 work our way up to
Asulkan Hut, shed some pack weight and then
make tracks. Conditions permitting; Young’s
Peak, Seven Steps of Paradise, etc. or work the
Tree Triangle. Plenty of skiing through to
Sunday when we ski out and make the drive back
to Calgary with big grins all around.
Costs for the trip are simply the hut fees
payable to myself.
This trip is set up for members and guests
aspiring to join the ACC but want a feel first.
