Itinerary:
The Powder Review has had many themes over the last 10 years being events, people, or characters. This year's theme recognizes the one place we all love and now it is time to pay homage to your favorite Rotten Banana, Three Sisters, or Executive Committee. The theme for this year's costumes will be your favorite mountain. So dress up as Resplendent or Terrible as your Heart desires. $100 gets you 2 nights accommodation (Feb 10 &11, 2017) at the A.O. Wheeler Hut, Saturday night dinner, snacks, and refreshments. See upcoming update on party theme and costume requirements (Costumes are recommended for maximum enjoyment of the Saturday evening festivities)
Required Items to Bring:
Backcountry skis/boards, skins, boots, poles, warm clothing (hat,glove/mitts+spare,jacket/pants), sleeping bag, food & refreshments (other than for Saturday night), sunglasses. Avalanche transceiver, probe, shovel, camera, helmet.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Anything else you can drag to the hut for your creature comfort.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:   Please do not send payment until you have been screened and placed on the sign up listing. Email payments made to treasurer@acccalgary.ca is preferred. Cheques must made payable to the ACC Calgary Section and mailed to the ACC Calgary Section, PO Box 1995, Calgary, AB T2P 2M2

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:

Please sign up only you are sure you can attend this event. The event can not be cancelled or re-scheduled due to weather or road conditions. Refunds will not be available after supplies are purchased and/or an alternate waitlist participant is not available.
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
