Itinerary:
The weather sucks so let's go hit some plastic! This event is ROCK IT friendly, but I expect everyone to be able to provide a safe top-rope belay (which means taking the belay test if you haven't done it yet). This event is to help everyone find partners and get some practice in, not for providing belays. I'm more than happy to do the belay test with anyone who needs to do it. I'll also be around to answer questions/yell at you for sloppy technique if you want me to, but I will not be instructing. Volunteers need climb to time too! We will meet near the front desk 5:30pm for greetings, waiver signing, etc. You don't have to call if you will be late, but if you arrive more than 5-10 minutes late, you'll have to hunt the group down on the climbing walls. As I said above, everyone is welcome, but don't forget that you will need to pass a belay test for the ccc south gym, if you haven't already done so.
Required Items to Bring:
harness, belay device, climbing shoes

Recommended Items to Bring:
chalk, water bottle

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.

Trip Feedback
If you have any feedback, positive or negative, concerning this trip or any other, we want to hear from you! You can send any feedback you may have to the Section Chair.
