Itinerary: |
This will be a day of trad climbing practice with priority for the
Women's Mentor Group. For those who are new to trad
climbing, we'll go over different types of gear and how they
work. You'll practice placing and removing gear on the ground
so that you can second trad climbs as well as working toward
leading. If you have experience, come out and get some
mileage. We can run mock leads on top rope as well as real
leads. There are also routes available in the area for sport
leading and practicing multipitch techniques (belaying from
above and rappelling). If weather is poor this will be
postponed until the following weekend.
