Itinerary:
Join in for a steady relaxed pace up a beautiful ridge walk for approximately 6 kms (return) with vistas for the entire day. This is a moderate/easy scramble with the most difficult part being the 1000 metres of elevation gain - so you will have to have some reasonable fitness level and some experience on lose rock. Not for the first time scrambler but certainly something for those wanting to get into doing more scrambles. I encourage Newbies to sign up on the wait list. Bring your enthusiasm and positive attitude. Once you have provided some of your scrambling experience in a separate email to me I will make my selection from the wait list the Wednesday before the date of the trip. We will drive to Fortress Gas station up Hwy 40 about 115 kms from Calgary. The expected duration of the scramble will be anywhere between 5 to 7 hours. Don't make plans for the evening since this is an all day event.
