Itinerary:
Meet at Calgary Section Rock Review camp at Canoe Meadows 8am Sunday and leave ASAP for Wasootch Ck. Parking. Hike ASAP up Wasootch Ck. to South Wasootch Tower Ck., then up S. Was. Twr. Ck. to base of south ridge of Wasootch Tower, skirt north along base of east face of Wasootch Tower and scramble up the southeast face to the start of the route Bird's Eye Slabs: 5 pitches, mixed sport/trad, 5.8. Rappel from summit area of Wasootch Twr. down the other side to the NW col and walk down the trail and North Wasootch Tower Ck. to return to the road.
Required Items to Bring:
Helmet, harness, personal tie-in and belay devices, 2 locking carabiners, approach shoes, rock shoes, warm clothing, rain/wind jacket, drinking water.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Sun glasses and cream, lunch, leather gloves, sun shirt.

Event Directions:   About 12km south of Canoe Meadows Campground, or 17km south of Hwy. 1, along Kananaskis Hwy.40, turn east into Wasootch Ck. day use area.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
