The much-delayed "Scrambles in the Canadian Rockies" updated version will be arriving very soon. Finally! Rocky Mountain Books and Indigo books Signal Hill location, Calgary will be hosting a "Meet the authors" event on Saturday, May 14. Seven RMB authors will be there including Alan Kane, with his updated scrambles guidebook. Details at: https://www.facebook.com/events/222639664771992/ And for those NOT on Facebook: When: Saturday May 14, 11 am - 4 pm Where: Indigo Books, 5570 Signal Hill Centre SW, Calgary Why: Meet seven authors, get first dibs on SCRAMBLES in the CANADIAN ROCKIES version 3.0 So if you're stuck in the city anyway, come and get yours, plus a belated mother's day gift for Mom! *Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
