Itinerary: |
The forecast looks great for next week. Anyone
else fancy getting a mountain scramble in on a
week day? The objective will be Grizzly Peak,
an easy scramble with 900m of ascent which
takes approx 5 hours.
We'll meet at Our Lady of the Assumption at
8.00 and leave as quickly as possible for the
scramble destination of the day. I need to be
back to the car pool by 5pm.
The pace we'll be doing depends a little on
the destination and the group. You don't
need to be super fit, or experienced, these
will be friendly trips. It's about getting out
into the mountains and enjoying what we have on
our doorstep.
Headlamps and helmets are absolutely
mandatory. If you have any questions at all,
just shoot me an email.
These trips will run on a principle of
group collaboration. Everyone is expected to be
involved in decision making and safety of the
party.
Edit: Dogs are very welcome on the trip!
Please check the objective to be sure
that your dog is up for the day and email
me with any questions or concerns.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
