How to suck less and be more better at…. is
a monthly series designed to help facilitate
ongoing peer learning. Speakers are volunteers
who feel somewhat knowledgeable and are willing
to help others achieve basic knowledge in an
area- they are by no means experts, and may in
fact not be the most knowledgeable person in
attendance. The goal is to help improve the
knowledge and skill level of all members who
participate on mountain trips through regular
skill updates. DIscussion and participant input
is welcomed during sessions.
Food can set trips up for sweet success or leave a bitter taste in
everyone's mouths. We will discuss meal planning, food sourcing,
preparation and packaging of delicious food. Our focus is on
preparing dehydrated one pot meals and delicious snacks for
summer adventures.

Notes: |
** The ‘How to suck less and be more better at’
series is put on by
volunteers, who are by no means experts or
guides, just people
who are willing to share some knowledge in an
area. Discussion
and participant input is welcomed.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.

Trip Feedback
If you have any feedback, positive or negative, concerning this trip or any other, we want to hear from you! You can send any feedback you may have to the Section Chair.
