Lets go to Jasper and climb! Lost Boys, Hidden Valley,
and Rock Gardens are all great cragging destinations. We
can also use the new guidebook, Northern Exposure, and
check out other areas/routes. Destinations dependent on rope leaders.
The plan is to drive down Friday morning, arrange our
camping for the weekend (staying at Whistlers), and then
continue on to our climbing destination of choice for the day. We
return to Calgary Sunday evening after climbing.
Camping fees are $27.40 per night. $11 reservation fee if reserved. Two small tents and one car per site allowed. Costs for camping will depend on number of
participants.
Participants must be able to provide a safe lead belay and
should be willing to lead routes.
Required Items to Bring:
climbing gear including a rack if you have it, stick clip,
camping equipment, extra clothing, insect repellent for
ticks, bear spray
Recommended Items to Bring:
your favourite beverages, running shoes, hiking footwear,
camp chair, rain gear, bikes for evening rides if they
fit

We'll meet at Assumption School at 7 am and park
extra vehicles in the adjacent neighbourhood.
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
