Itinerary:
May 21 Landslide Lake Trail to Lake of Falls (20.3 km + 1300 m. elevation gain), random camping by the lake. May 22 scramble Purple Mt. and return to the car via Entry Creek and Cline River or Timber Creek(about 20 km), night at the Nordegg HI. May 23 scramble/hike Coliseum Lookout (17 km + 700 m. elevation gain)and possible stop at the Siffleur Falls on the way back to Calgary. I have not been to this area - please come prepared for route finding.
Required Items to Bring:
Back-country camping equipment, hiking boots, poles, warm layers, hat, gloves, food, water, sunglasses, flashlight, stuff for the night at the hostel, cash for drivers.

Recommended Items to Bring:
First Aid Kit, bivy, gaiters, camera, bear spray, Thermos, GPS/map/compass, PLB.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
