Itinerary:

How to suck less and be more better at…. is a monthly series designed to help facilitate ongoing peer learning. Speakers are volunteers who feel somewhat knowledgeable and are willing to help others achieve basic knowledge in an area- they are by no means experts, and may in fact not be the most knowledgeable person in attendance. The goal is to help improve the knowledge and skill level of all members who participate on mountain trips through regular skill updates. DIscussion and participant input is welcomed during sessions.

If you climb for long enough, you will get some sort of injury. Come and discuss injury prevention and treatment with other members.

The club library has an excellent new book "Make or Break: Don't let climbing injuries dictate you success" by Dave MacLeod. Mark will highlight some of its contents.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:   Go to the Louise Riley Library. The Program Bulding is the one on the North side of the parking lot. Do not be deterred by the "No Parking" signs, those are for park-and-riders.

Notes:
** The ‘How to suck less and be more better at’ series is put on by volunteers, who are by no means experts or guides, just people who are willing to share some knowledge in an area. Discussion and participant input is welcomed.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.

Trip Feedback
If you have any feedback, positive or negative, concerning this trip or any other, we want to hear from you! You can send any feedback you may have to the Section Chair.
