Itinerary: |
Located between Golden and Radium BC, the
Spillimacheen crags have short approaches, free
camping and great views of the Spillimacheen
River Valley. The road in is car-friendly. The
rock is solid and mostly bolted with a few gear
routes thrown in here and there, making it
worthwhile to bring your rack. Grades are from
5.7 and up, with lots in the 5.10 range. Route
and area info can be seen at this address... http://justanotheroutdoorpage.b
logspot.ca/p/blog-page.html
The plan is to drive out Friday after work
(for those who are still employed) and camp
Friday and Saturday. We'll climb Saturday and
Sunday, returning to Calgary Sunday evening.
Saturday evening we'll have a group potluck
with chilli as the main course. More on that
later. All participants must be able to give a
safe lead belay and should be willing to lead
routes of their choice.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
