Itinerary: |
Elizabeth Parker hut booked for the nights of June 30, July 1st and 2nd for a family trip. Members are invited to come with their families and enjoy the Lake O'Hara area. There will be lots of family hiking and those who wish to take on some Alpine or rock climbing objectives are free to do so. These climbing trips will take place on a small group basis and will be self-led and self-organized. Kids of all ages are welcome.
Take the bus in on Thursday, stay 3 nights at the Elizabeth Parker Hut. Hike or climb Fri, Sat and Sun, take the bus out on Sunday. Potluck meals will be organized. Family Trip - all ages welcome.

approx 20 km west of Lake Louise on Hwy 1 - at the Lake O'Hara parking lot. Departure time depends on which bus you take - we have 6 spots on the 8:30 bus and 16 on the 10:30 bus. First to pay gets to choose which bus to go in on!

Be sure to register all adults and add the kids as guests with their ages please! This trip is a great way to get your kids out in the mountains. It's also a great way to meet other ACC members with kids to get out and do things with.

Payment is due by June 10, 2016. Cancellations will only receive a refund if a replacement is found.
Adult cost for hut (3 nights) and bus is $110/person, each child is $70/person. Children under 2 are free! Wilderness passes will be required by all and are an additional cost if you don't have one already. Email transfers are preferable. Email your payment to sandyfransham@shaw.ca and use the password 'earplugs' If email transfers don't float your boat, then snail mail cheques made out to ACC Calgary Section and mail to Sandy Fransham

Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
