Itinerary:
This is a SELF GUIDED trip. Perfect trip if it's your first time in the Bugs and that you "already" climb solid. Variety of 5.4 ridge scrambles to straight-up desperate 5.14. Plus glacier travel can be a necessity depending of the objective.

Participants will be added/paired 2 at a time so that we can climb in even numbers. You will only be considered if you have intermediate alpine rock/mountaineering experience (see below).

Planning:
- Saturday July 02th: meet at carpool at 6 a.m. / 4:30 drive (details to be forwarded to participants).
- Saturday afternoon July 02th: Hike from the parking to the camp site. Calculate a good 6-8 hours hike.
- Monday to Friday: climbing in groups of 2; objectives will be based on ability level. To be revised on site according to weather and route condition.
- Saturday July 09th: Hike out early and drive back to Calgary.

Pre-requisites: Participants will be required to send a list of objectives that they have completed that are similar in difficulty to objectives they are looking to climb in the Bugaboos. Because we are climbing in pairs, the minimum ability that is required is that at least one person in the party can lead competently and efficiently on glacier and sustained 5th class rock, and the second needs to also be able to climb efficiently, give a safe lead belay; in addition all participants must have rock rescue and crevasse rescue. Preference will be given to participants that have already climbed in the Bugaboos before (but is not a requirement).

We will all be staying at the Applebee Dome campground where toilet facilities and food locker are available. They also now have river tab water to the camp.

If approved on the trip you will need to pay $175 (7 nights@$25) on site for the camping plus, you will need your camping gear (ultra-light of preference). Bugs caretaker take cash and credit card.

Gear list will be forwarded and discussed with trip participants. Hope you can make it out !!
