Itinerary:
Let's presume the weather will be on our side for that day. A bit of cold, a bit of ice, a bit of sun. Will meet at the Petro-Can (Hwy #1 and Road 22X in Cochrane) at 8:00 a.m. Please be on time. As we will be climbing ice late in the season, lets expect we need to readjust. I will check out the the weather conditions, route condition, shortly before the trip and advise everyone what we can expect. Should conditions suggest, we will chose an alternative climb that day. This CAN be a cold day with the wind/shadow on the vertical. Please bring appropriate clothing.
Required Items to Bring:
Ice climbing gear, ice tools, crampons, proper boots, helmet, lunch/hot drink, adequate clothing, shade.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Warm gloves, tuque and light insulated jacket (if needed) as it can be quite cold up high. Mobile and personal first aid kit are also good ideas. PREREQUISITE Fun AND Big smiles.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
