Itinerary: |
The Mt Norquay ski resort is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year and therefore they give away day passes for only 90 cent once a month. Tomorrow is such a happy day!!! Every skill level is welcome, but if you are faster than us or you can't keep up, you need to be ok to ski by yourself. So you might want to bring your own ski buddy. We won't ski super fast, but also won't waste too much time taking rests etc. The plan is to meet at 7:00 am somewhere on the way out of town, beat the crowds at the ticket office and ski until about 2:30pm to beat the crowds again on the way down to the highway. If you are a powder snob, STAY AWAY from this event, as there won't be any and it will be likely icy, but it is only 90 cent, so still worth for a few hours of having fun and honing the downhill ski skills etc.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
