Itinerary: |
This mid week trip is specifically for the members of the "EI-climbing Team" ;-)
The plan is to do a day trip hitting some ice in the WI3 or WI4 range somewhere in the vicinity of Calgary (max 2hrs one way). Possible destinations are depending on the weather conditions etc. but could be the South Ghost (Aquarious or Big Dipper) or K-Country (Snowline, Tasting Fear). This is not a beginner nor an expert trip, but you should have at least a little bit of ice climbing experience especially you need to be able to give me a safe belay.
If you haven't climbed with me this ice season or I don't know you at all, please send a short email describing your climbing experience to link_tobias(at)web.de -NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
I will pick my participants tomorrow evening around 4pm, please be patient.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
