Itinerary:
What about the Nordegg area for your Valentine/Family w.end huh!? The idea is to leave the city after work Thursday Feb. 11 (or Friday if you want, read below) and drive out to the Hostel International HI-Nordegg to spend the next few nights there and ice climb in the area.

You will be asked to send us a few lines on your ice-climbing experience and once accepted on this trip, will be required to call the HI reservation # 1-866-748-6321 to make your own reservation & payment. Price is $28 p.night for HI members and $31 (+tax) p.night for non- HI-members. Note that Nathalie has Friday Feb.11 off and not Monday Feb.15 but if you do (have Mond.off) and can only arrive Friday night and want to stay to spend Monday climbing, feel free to do so assuming you can lead or there are enough leaders staying. Jeff and I will be overseeing this for sure.

More precise gear info, food groups and carpooling etc.. will be sent to participants closer to the date.

Required Items to Bring:
Harness, helmet, boots, crampons, ice-screws etc.. warm clothing, food for 3 days.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
