COP or WinSport or whatever is letting the ACC
buy lift tickets in bulk for the low, low
price of $20. We're leveraging this into some
training (the Learn to Ski with the ACC at COP
series), but if the groups are full or you just
feel like going for a Tuesday night rip on your
skis with other ACCers, you're more than
welcome to do so.
I or someone filling in for me, will be at COP
any Tuesday night posted on the Trip Calendar.
We'll be there at around 6:30 to distribute
passes. Fork over your $20 in cash, sign a
waiver and the go nuts.
We'll be set up at the base on one of the
outdoor tables with no particular way to
identify us other than being one of the few
people in touring gear with ACC waivers strewn
about.
A few items of note:
COP is like skiing on concrete - I wouldn't
ski there without a helmet.
You must sign up here in advance so I know
how many passes to buy
This is NOT a led trip - YOU are going
skiing, all the ACC is doing is bulk buying
passes to save you some cash
If you already have a season's pass or
something, feel free to come ski with ACCers
anyway
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
Trip Feedback If you have any feedback, positive or negative, concerning this trip or any other, we want to hear from you! You can send any feedback you may have to the Section Chair.
