Itinerary:
Objective will be Anorexia Nervosa and Wethering Heights in the South Ghost. This is the first time for me heading into the Ghost this winter so all participants should be mentally prepared that it may be an adventure getting in there. (South Ghost is usually much friendlier).

The early meetup time for the carpool is to give us sufficient time to navigate, and to be able to climb both objectives in one day.

Must be able to at least follow WI4, must be able to lead belay, Must have multi pitch experience.

Preference will be given to those that can lead WI 3+/4, but is NOT a requirement.
Required Items to Bring:
Draws, ice tools, harness, several pairs of gloves (for belaying and for climbing), crampons for waterfall ice, belay jacket, ice climbing boots, helmet, hooker, long 22 cm ice screw, cordellete, Belay device+anchor package (5 lockers, 120 cm sling), prussik, personal anchor tether, each participant should check the weather and dress/pack appropriate layers accordingly, toques, headlamp, toilet paper, food and snacks that are edible in cold weather, warm water/hot beverage, cash to pay driver for gas.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Ice screws of varying sizes (to help out with gear if you have them.) Camera, cell phone, Personal Locator Beacon (or SPOT), Sunglasses, hot tea, positive psyche to chop ice shelves before the sunrises and possibly after the sun sets, foot warmer packets, hand warmer packets

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
