Plan is to go skiing during the day Saturday and then set up camp close by Burstall Pass in Kananaskis Country. On Sunday we can go skiing in the morning and then from 11 AM -2:30 PM there will be some snowpack analysis workshops, companion rescue techniques, avalanche transceiver practice, avalanche terrain recognition, avalanche dog and recco search demonstrations. Best of all free hotdogs and hot chocolate!

Trip objectives will be whatever mother nature decides is "in-season" that week! I invite other trip leaders to post trips around this event and stay with us overnight on Saturday night or simply stop on by anytime for fireside chat and some hot cocoa...
