Itinerary:
Leave Calgary at 8:00 am get into Wheeler early afternoon, look for a little skiing on the way or hit the practice slopes for an afternoon ski. Saturday-Monday are all about finding the best turns and/or tours in Rogers Pass based on the conditions and avi rating. Be back in Calgary on Monday night approx. 7-8. Participants will be pre-screened for ski background and experience. AST1 and crevasse rescue is required. Please provide a brief summary of avi training, glacier and ski experience. The cost for the 3 days at Wheeler is $90/person.
Required Items to Bring:
The usual back-country ski or boarding gear, glacier gear. Food and spirits for the three days, personal items for the hut (eg sleeping bag and fluffy pillow), funny jokes, good times

Will provide a full list before the trip pertaining to gear, must haves and nice to haves.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:   Head west, stop when we get to the best snow. The round trip is approximately 900 km

Since we have pre-paid for the hut, no cancellations or refunds
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
