Itinerary:
Cancelled due to lack of interest - Practice beacon search for an hour or so. You are welcome to come to my place for some hot chocolate afterwards to warm up, I live close by.
Required Items to Bring:
3-Antenna beacon, headlamp, clothing sufficient to stand around in the conditions of the evening. Bring any old beacons as well for "targets"

Event Directions:   Meet in front of Canmore Road and 28th Ave NW. There is free street parking.  

Notes:
As ski/ice climbing season is upon us come and do some practice. Note: This is not a training course per se; more an opportunity to practice and refresh skills that have already been acquired. That said I am happy to help with some of the basics.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
