Itinerary:
This ski tour will explore around the region of smuts pass. We may head up towards tryst lake and then descend into commonwealth valley - head up towards smuts pass - perhaps go right to the pass if conditions seem OK - etc. the idea is to get a few turns and explore a bit - and we will dig a pit and assess the snowpack for curiosity.
Required Items to Bring:
AT or tele skis, poles, skins, proper boots, avi transeiver, shovel, probe, warm clothing, food, sunglasses or goggles

How to Get There:
Carpool Departure Time:   07:15 AM
Carpool Location:   Petrocanada at cochrane turnoff
Carpool Directions:   we will meet at the top of the gravel road that leads to the gas station and that is accessed from highway 22 - or by driving up the road from the station itself.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
