Itinerary:
We'll head out Friday night to stay at Rampart Creek hostel. Then out for whatever ice climbs in the area are appealing. We might climb as a group, or we might break up to climb separately for the day & meet up back at the hostel. We'll come up with a plan once we are closer to the actual date and know who is joining the trip. Being able to lead ice isn't a requirement, but anyone joining this trip should have at least some previous ice climbing experience, be able to offer a safe lead belay on double ropes, and be willing & able to participate in group safety decisions. We've already booked 8 spots at the hostel, which will be $48/person for the weekend. The hostel provides bedding, so no need to bring your own. (we've added two more beds to make the trip for 8 now)
Required Items to Bring:
Ice climbing stuff, potluck contribution for Saturday night. A plan for what you intend to climb.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Sense of humour, adult beverages, camera.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
