Itinerary: |
We will meet at my house in bridgeland and go over the
intimidating task of actually taking Dynafit heel pieces to
pieces and then reassembling them. It is actually quite easy if
you go step by step. It's also very empowering because you
will know what tools to take with you on a long traverse (you
need a surprisingly small amount of tools) to dismantle the
bindings and put them back together. This trip is a great
opportunity to get out and play with some gear and meet other
like minded individuals. Maybe we'll even learn something
about our gear and how to make your gear last longer. We can
wax skis and yak about trips we want to do this year etc.
Come be social and learn something about the enigmatic
Dynafit bindings and how to fix them.
|
Required Items to Bring: |
1 torx Allen key (if you have the one that fits the small screws
on top of the Dynafit heel piece), old bindings that need
repairing, 1 small blade screwdriver or a multi tool (bring the
one you normally carry with you in the backcountry).
|
|
Recommended Items to Bring: |
A childish sense of adventure. In other words you like taking
apart all of your toys even if you don't know how to get them
back together.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.

Trip Feedback
