Itinerary:
Yup, we're going ice climbing. Or at least we're going to carry a bunch of ice climbing gear up a mountain and see if there's any ice to climb. We're thinking of trying Twisted Sister which is often in shape pretty early. This trip has an extremely small chance of success. We will have to move reasonably quickly carrying significant gear. All the ingredients for a great day out. We'll either leave Calgary early Sunday morning or stay in Canmore Saturday night. Specific logistics will be worked out closer to the date depending on weather. This is NOT a led trip. You should be self sufficient in your skills and decision making. You should be comfortable carrying a heavy pack a long way with a sunny smile on your face.
Required Items to Bring:
Sort of depends on the weather - assume ice gear as a minimum.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Warm stuff.

How to Get There:
Carpool Departure Time:
Carpool Location:   Our Lady of the Assumption School parking lot
Carpool Directions:   Goooooooooooooooooooogle

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
