Itinerary:
Drive to Nakiska, hike up Centennial Ridge through Middle Earth-esqe rock formations to the summit of Mt Allan. Return the same way. The pace will be moderate. Take advantage of the continuing nice weather to keep fit while waiting for snow to fall and ice to freeze!
Required Items to Bring:
Hiking gear, food, water.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Trekking pole(s), boot traction devices( Icer's, Yak Trax, etc. I'll bring some extra Icer's to lend).

How to Get There:
Event Directions:   Carpool from Calgary, LEAVING at 7:00 AM. Plan to be at the carpool by 6:45 AM. Let me know if you want to meet in the field.

Carpool Location:   The parking lot (ex-recycling bins) by #1 Highway and Stoney Trail
Carpool Directions:   West on #1 from Calgary, exit right to West Valley Rd, spin around the roundabout, under the highway, then back toward Calgary.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
