Itinerary: |
This day is designed to really emphasize efficient
steep ice technique. Learn tips on how to Swing,
kick, and move most effectively on steep terrain.
The course will be taught by Sean Isaac.
This course is taught by Sean Isaac, an ACMG Alpine Guide,
certified to instruct and guide rock, ice and alpine climbing.
Twenty-four years of climbing experience has provided him with
the knowledge and skills to safely and successfully guide a
variety of routes, at any time of year, and able to pass on tips
and techniques he has learned over the course of his career.
Sean has run numerous rock and ice courses over the past few
years for the Calgary ACC Section and they are always well
organized and excellent programs.

guidelines!
*Note: Cancellation Policy: Due to the popularity
of these clinics, full payment must be received to
book your spot. There will be no refund for
cancellations. Courses will run regardless of
weather unless the guide deems conditions unsafe
then a back-up option may be executed. This is to
be decided by the guide the evening before.
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
