Itinerary: |
This is a 4 day trip. We will meet in Cochrane at 10am on
Monday July 27 and drive to the Bugaboos trailhead. Hike to the
Kain Hut and set up for an attempt on Pigeon Spire on Tuesday
July 28. I have my own plans for the next day - so it is a free
day for participants to make their own plan or take a rest day -
we can discuss suitable objectives if you are not comfortable
making your own plan. Alternatively if you have your own
transport you can walk out yourself after we climb Pigeon Spire.
Thursday July 30 will be another climbing day for the group -
likely something on Crescent Spire - and then we will hike out
and drive back to Calgary. Expect to arrive home late Thursday
evening.
NOTE I HAVE ALREADY BOOKED 4 SPOTS AT THE KAIN HUT FOR
THIS TRIP. IF YOU ARE ACCEPTED ON THIS TRIP - YOU DO NOT
NEED TO MAKE YOUR OWN BOOKING - YOU WILL PAY ME $75
CASH ON MONDAY MORNING.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
