(Tentatively) leave Canoe Meadows campground 8am, arrive Wasootch Ck. 8:15. Complete and finalize Club Liability Waivers. Depending on weather, start hiking ASAP to Wasootch Tower NW col. Arrive Wasootch Twr NW col app. 9:30, discuss and prepare to climb. Depending on weather, start climbing 'normal' NW face route 10:00. Arrive summit of Wasootch Tower app. noon. Lunch and discussions at summit, 1 hr. Start descent 13:00, half hour to main rappel anchor. Start rappel 13:30. Everyone down on scree at NW Col 14:30, pack equipment and regroup. Start hiking descent 15:00. Parking Lot 16:00, Congratulations and Farewells all round.
Required Items to Bring:
Day pack, helmet, harness, personal tie-in sling, 2 locking carabiners, approach shoes, rock shoes, warm clothing (sweater, toque, gloves), rain/wind jacket & pants, water, lunch.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Belay/rappel device, prussik cord (3m in loop),sun cream, sun glasses, hiking pole, camera (on cord)

From Hwy 1 or Canoe Meadows campground, south on Kananaskis Highway, pass Porcupine Ck. (road signs), shortly exit next left for Wasootch Ck., park in the lot at the end of the road, beside the creek.

Notes:
Nice hike up to the Tower. Short and easy but exposed climbing on good rock, some scrambling.
Number of Participants accepted may depend on available helpers among signups.
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.

Your membership Waiver in place at the time of the activity will apply to your participation in this activity. If your membership renews prior to the activity taking place, you will be required to agree to a new Waiver upon renewal, this new Waiver
