For those who are camping Friday Night- let's squeeze a few more routes in beforehand! Barrier has climbs from 5.9 to 5.12 sport and a couple gear lines. You do not need to know how to lead climb, but please leave a comment indicating if you can lead, clean anchors or will bring a rope and draws. That way I can make sure we won't be leaving people standing around.
Required Items to Bring:
- harness, helmet, belay device, rock shoes
- rope/draws/sport anchor if you have them
- lunch, water, rain clothes
-Anything else you might need for the weekend

How to Get There:
Event Directions:   Highway 40 to barrier lake, look up see north facing walls on south side of highway. From calgary it is just past the barier lake dam. Park on the left side of the road in the ditch near a small gravel wash. Hike up the wash to the iff

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
