Itinerary:
This is part of the Rock Review weekend. The plan is to climb a Multi-pitch route on Kid Goat. Depending on our teams ability and other teams on the cliff when we get there, Slingsby's Overhang(5.7), Twilight Zone(5.7), Keelhaul Wall(5.6), Highlight(5.9) are possible choices. Walking off the top of the climb, so everything you bring, you'll also be climbing with on your back. Choose wisely. Priorities will be given to those attending the Saturday night so we can reminisce of our days event around the campfire.
Required Items to Bring:
Harness, belay device with locking carabiner, personal prusik and cordalette, 2 locking carabiners, helmet, climbing shoes, pack, water and food.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Lightweight approach\trail shoes. Sense of humour.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:   From the West bound lane of the TC HWY #1 take the Seebee/Exshaw exit onto the 1X for 3.6km. At "T" intersection, turn left (west) onto 1A. Follow it 3.2 km to a parking lot on the left directly across from a landfill entrance.
Carpool Departure Time:   07:30 AM
Carpool Location:   Canoe Meadows campground
Carpool Directions:   Meeting at Canoe Meadows or at the parking lot for the climb. We will coordinate via e-mail.

Notes:
You must be able to offer a safe lead-belay on single or double ropes. You do not need to lead. Multi-pitch experience is nice but not necessary. We will be discussing tactics as we go to make you a solid second.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
