Meet at Our Lady of Assumption School @ 5:50 AM to
sign waivers and carpool, if required. Carpool leaves @
06:00. Early start to prepare for Daylight Savings Time the
following day, and we may go to Tokkum Pole, which requires
an early start to beat the rush for limited routes. I will see
where the best climbing will be during the week and announce
by Friday. Choices could include Haffner, Tokkum Pole, or the
Ghost. If we go to the Ghost, the drive in could be an
adventure in itself, so I will pick participants based on their
level of experience in this remote setting (not necessarily first
to sign up). The ice is disappearing in many spots, but we will
see what we can find!
Required Items to Bring:
Ice tools, crampons (dual or mono), climbing
boots, belay jacket, climbing gloves, belay

clothing, gas money.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Hot drinks, trekking poles, extra gloves, gaiters.

Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
