When:
- This posting is for Week 1: Sunday July 19 - July 26
Where:
Clemenceau Icefield, British Columbia
Base:
The plan is to camp at GRR333-837. This will be confirmed on the first helicopter flight in on July 19. The staging area will be
100+k along the Sullivan River on the B road.
Who:
12 (max) Calgary Section Members per week. After
June 1 the camp will be opened up to other
Sections
References:

Cost:
A deposit of $875cis required (final costs will
depend on helicopter costs and the number of attendees). The cost of this year's camp is higher than previous years. This is due to the helicopter flight being much longer, but it gets you to a remote and spectacular place which is home to a 12000er and a group of 11000ers and is a much quicker way in than a 4 day slog!

Notes: |
Once you registration has been confirmed no
refunds will be given for any reason
(cancellation, weather, flight delays, etc.). It
will be your responsibility to find a suitable
replacement if you are unable to attend the event.
Participants may wish to consider purchasing trip
cancellation/interruption insurance through the
National office to mitigate any loss.
|
|
Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
