Carpool to the Shunda Creek HI Nordegg Hostel
Friday evening, climb Saturday, Sunday, and
half
of Monday before driving back to Calgary.
Due to the availability of dorm beds, there are
spots only for 3 males and 4 females
on this trip. Cost for all 3 nights at the
hostel is $94.50 for HI members and $103.95
for non-members.
You must be comfortable belaying an ice
leader.
Required Items to Bring:
- Personal ice climbing gear (helmet, harness,
belay device, boots, crampons, ice tools, food,
water, clothing layers appropriate for weather,
gloves)
- Potluck item for either Saturday or Sunday
dinner
- Food and drinks for 3 days
- Bathing suit for the hot tub!

anchors please list them in your Notes section.
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
