Itinerary:
We'll meet at Shouldice Arena and drive straight to Johnston Canyon. We'll climb for a few hours before meeting up with the rest of the group at the Tunnel Mountain Campground.

We will NOT be returning to Shouldice on Saturday, so you will have to arrange for your own transportation on Sunday.

NOTE: You MUST be registered for the Annual Ice Review event to be considered for this event.

Required Items to Bring:
Personal ice climbing gear (helmet, harness, belay device, boots, crampons, ice tools, food, water, clothing layers appropriate for weather, gloves).

Recommended Items to Bring:
State in the Notes section if you have a Park Pass, rope, screws, draws, or anchors.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:   Highway 1A, about 6km east of the Castle Mountain Junction off of Highway 1.

Carpool Location:   Shouldice Arena
Carpool Directions:   1515 Home Rd NW. Meet by the Batting Cages. I drive a black Mazda 6 Sport.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
