Itinerary:
This is a trip for those who wish to be considered for Ski Trip Coordinator privledges. We will head out for a trip and discuss aspects of trip planning, route choices, terrain, weather, avi conditions and group management. Travel to Twin Lakes via Castle Junction Trailhead. Continue on to Gibbon Pass if conditions permit and return via the access route. ~20km return with 860m of elevation gain
Required Items to Bring:
AT or Tele skies, poles, boots, skins, transceiver (no single antena analogue units), probe, shovel, down jacket, thermos, lunch, camera...

Recommended Items to Bring:
Strong trail-breaking legs and a good sense of humour!

Carpool Departure Time:   07:00 AM
Carpool Location:   The recycling bins by #1 Highway and Stoney Trail
Carpool Directions:   West on #1 from Calgary, exit right to West Valley Rd, spin around the roundabout, under the highway, then back toward Calgary.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
