| Itinerary: |

This trip provides a great workout, a good
chance of skiing some freshies and with
visibility, a magnificent alpine viewing of the
mtn range all the way to Assiniboine.
The runs are not super long but one can choose
from shallow angle to steep terrain.
Carpool to leave Calgary at 6:30 sharp, drive
to the Sunshine parking lot and re-group at the
ski-out entrance under the gondola. We will
skin-up and climb the ski out to Sunshine
Village (a couple hrs). Head south out of the
ski area on the route to Citadel Pass, however,
due to short days we will not go further than
Quartz Hill (4-5 kms from ski area).
We'll finish the day by returning to Sunshine
(where the lifts will now be closed and the
crowd gone) for a final run down Sunshine all
the way to the parking lot.
